We Are Melters Chocolate
We’re a chocolate-loving team from Northern Ireland with big ideas and warm hearts. “Melter” is a familiar wee word here, so we made it ours!
We originally took over and built on the well-established Refuge Chocolate brand, a Northern Irish social enterprise known for its delicious handcrafted treats and its Do-Good-Food ethos.
Now, as Melters Chocolate, we’re carrying that spirit forward with fresh energy, ethical ingredients and a whole lot of cocoa love!
Our Impact
From our chocolate factory, we’re crafting sustainable, traceable chocolate with big flavour and zero shortcuts.
In Bolivia, we’re helping restore a wildlife reserve in an area devastated by deforestation - regenerating the land, supporting local jobs and building towards a future where we can grow our own cacao.
Closer to home, we continue Refuge Chocolate’s commitment to social impact by supporting Flourish NI, who help people affected by modern slavery.

Our current cocoa partner produces premium belgian chocolate that’s ethical, traceable and sustainable, supporting farming communities through Cocoa Horizons.
